The Dickinson City Commission swore in the 2025–26 Dickinson Youth Commission at its Nov. 4 public hearing session.
Mister Fong introduced the youth commissioners and said the group represents Dickinson High School and Trinity High School and includes students in grades 9–11. "They represent grades 9, 10 and 11 in their schools," he said, noting the group started in 2021 and has renewed energy in 2025.

"We're really gaining a lot of traction back, and we're happy to have your support," a staff presenter said. The commission welcomed the youth members and noted plans for 2026.
The swearing-in took place during the public hearing portion of the meeting; no formal vote was required. City staff will work with the youth commission on future events and opportunities for civic engagement.
