Assistant County Engineer Jared Bonar presented a resolution of support on Nov. 4 for a Tennessee Department of Transportation proposal to replace the bridge over Murray Creek on State Route 99 (Bradenville Pike).

Commissioner Phil Dodd moved to approve the resolution and a second was offered; the committee approved the resolution by voice vote. Bonar and other staff clarified that the project is being carried out with state funds and that the county will not be responsible for project funding.

The resolution will be forwarded as the countys formal support for the TDOT bridge replacement project.
