Commissioners accepted the animal shelter report submitted by Mike and Cindy Heizer, approved weekly and monthly health insurance claims and approved payroll claims totaling $387,565.52.

Mike and Cindy provided the shelter report for the record; commissioners noted shelter counts and thanked volunteer groups. One speaker said the shelter "still have 7 dogs" and praised cooperation with nearby jurisdictions and volunteer organizations that support animal services.

Tony (county auditor/treasurer) presented weekly health insurance claims that totaled about $30,200 and noted a large void or stop-loss reimbursement that reduced an otherwise much larger charge. He also presented the monthly allied insurance figure (approximately $70,000) and payroll claims for the pay period of $387,565.52. Commissioners moved and seconded motions to approve the claims and payroll; each motion was recorded as passing.

The board took no additional action beyond approving the presented reports and claims.
