Council moved and approved the ordinance with an amendment to correct the chief civil deputy attorney minimum from a clerical error to the corrected minimum cited in the staff update.

Staff emphasized that the council’s action approved pay ranges only and did not automatically award individual employees salary increases—any market adjustments or personnel pay decisions will proceed under established personnel processes.

Council passed the amended ordinance by voice vote.
