The board received first readings for two policy documents from the policy committee.

The first document, on board member salaries and compensation, was revised to reflect changes approved at the annual business meeting and to add a paragraph describing how annual salaries are calculated. The second document, board policy development, review and adaptation procedure, adds a procedural schedule and guidance intended to make the policy a practical "how-to" document for future committee members.

Committee members asked that future materials include a redlined comparison showing proposed edits to make changes easier to review. No formal vote was taken; both documents were presented for first reading and will return for subsequent review and action as part of the policy committee schedule.
