During public comment residents raised a range of maintenance and service issues across the city. A resident reported sections of the north-side Beach Drive sidewalk were nearly blocked by overgrowth and asked for trimming. Residents also said a bicycle repair station pump is nonfunctional, and another pump at the marina has similar problems.

A resident asked about an abandoned railroad corridor as a potential multipurpose path and requested status on any plans. Others expressed concerns about drainage and alleged instances of city crews performing work that affected private yards; the city manager said employees generally do not work on private property and asked residents to submit photographs and formal requests so staff can investigate.

City staff said some stretches along Beach Drive are within FDOT jurisdiction, which affects maintenance responsibility. The city manager encouraged residents to send photos and service requests and provided a staff contact and phone number for expedited handling. Staff also said public-record requests and work orders are responded to; a requester reported a work-order response had been provided in the prior days.

City officials said they will follow up on the requests, share any completed work orders that are public records and coordinate with FDOT where state responsibility exists.
