Christina (South Lakeland): The board approved a consultant services authorization to design and provide bid and construction support for a new facility on a county‑owned parcel near County Road 540A and Gladman Road. The staff report included two figures on the record: an earlier statement cited a fee not to exceed $312,255; a later summary said the total cost to the county would not exceed $312,480. County staff clarified the higher figure accounts for potential site mitigation (wetland impacts) and contingency for design services; if mitigation is not required, the contingency would not be used.

Willow Oak: The board also approved a consultant services authorization for the Willow Oak station project for professional services not to exceed $207,090. Staff said funding is available in EMS impact fee and emergency medical millage funds for these designs.
