Two public comments during the Nov. 3 public‑comment period raised transparency and communication concerns related to planning work.

Resident Tim Myers submitted an online comment saying staff had not provided calculations, conditions and assumptions behind the Envision Dublin fiscal‑impact analysis despite an earlier, ongoing request dating to July. Myers said staff had told him they understood what he sought and would respond without a new records request; after two weeks with no response he said he will submit a formal public‑records request and asked for completion by Nov. 18, 2025, and said he would file a complaint with the Ohio Court of Claims if the request is not fulfilled.

Resident Daniel Hamill asked staff to coordinate with the Ballantray (Ballantray) Community Association regarding the setback study and landscape-buffering study and pressed staff for more timely communication about draft code language ahead of a mid‑November meeting between staff and the community-association board. Hamill also urged council to resist partisan endorsements in local nonpartisan races and said party pledges can undermine public confidence.

Council and staff acknowledged the comments; staff agreed to follow up with the Ballantray board to schedule meetings and coordinate materials. Staff did not provide the detailed fiscal‑impact calculations during the meeting; Myers’ planned records request and stated deadline were noted on the public record.
