Leslie, representing water and wastewater operations, told the board that Debbie Durham is scheduled to speak to county staff and that she will provide program updates. Leslie said Durham's position is appointed by the governor and that the county expects to hear updates at the scheduled session.

Leslie reported that the department expects two, possibly three, revolving loan fund applications soon and asked supervisors to watch for the materials in their inboxes. Staff also said the county submitted its largest recent request to the state for well construction and related work, totaling about $8,500, and that reporting to state systems (IWIS) has improved.

Separately, staff said Brookshire representatives will be on site this week to work on signage; Tate and Rich have been connected to coordinate using the existing posts. The county discussed whether the existing plywood signs could be disposed of; staff indicated the signs can be discarded.

Staff mentioned the Winwick Betco meeting is scheduled for January and asked supervisors to note the date; supervisors also agreed to a short conference-board meeting on Nov. 17 by Zoom to cover two quick items. A canvass date reminder (Nov. 12) was also given.

No formal actions or votes were recorded for the loan applications or signage; supervisors requested follow-up and documentation be provided.
