The court approved staff proceeding with the U.S. Bank contract and issuing replacement cards for active employees when the county contract is in place.

Adobe licensing: IT staff proposed centralizing Adobe license procurement and management under IT so annual fees would be handled centrally rather than by each department. The court approved charging the initial cost to project contingency or the IT budget and directed staff to return with firm pricing and, if necessary, a budget amendment.

Vehicle and equipment purchases: The court approved purchasing chassis and remounts for ambulances (staff noted an 8–10 month lead time), a 2026 40‑ft Pit Boss belly‑dump trailer for $39,050 from Brazos Trailer Manufacturing and a 2012 Mack truck for $32,000 for Road & Bridging.

Vendor/contract actions: The court approved a novation agreement in which Vulcan Material Company’s contract rights are transferred to American Material Group and authorized executing annual mapping software (ESRI) contract DIRCPO4699 with the county judge signing the wet copy.

County staff emphasized purchases would follow normal purchasing and budget amendment processes and that some one‑time payments would be charged to contingency or departmental budgets as approved earlier in the meeting.
