Grand Rapids City’s mobile recap promoted the DART EV electric vehicle car-share program, which the city said launched in October 2024 and rents vehicles for $5 an hour. The presentation reported more than 200 active users and said the fleet was expanded from seven to nine cars to meet demand. Vehicles were listed as being parked downtown in the Western Commerce and Government Center ramps and in neighborhood lots at West Fulton, Burton Heights, Madison Square and Easttown.
