Commissioners approved the countys 2026 Anthem renewal and associated stop‑loss and administrative agreements for the countys self‑insurance program.

Staff described the annual renewal packet, which includes a stop‑loss agreement, administrative fees and pharmacy pricing. Amanda Gilbert of Apex was present to explain details. During the public comment period, David Henry, a member of the Monroe County Council and a resident of Van Buren Township, told the board he and council colleagues would like earlier involvement in future insurance‑plan decisions to better anticipate claims and budget impacts.

After public comment and no further questions, the board voted 3‑0 to approve the renewal.
