Joy Grama presented the Civilian Review Board’s Q2 and Q3 reports to the council on Oct. 29. The board reported it has seven voting members and one alternate and is seeking a nonvoting advisory member.

The board reviewed 106 cases in Q2 (April–June) and 69 cases in Q3 (July–September). It requested and viewed body-worn or in-car camera footage for 48 cases in Q2 and 36 in Q3. The board recorded zero findings of use-of-force outside policy and zero inconclusive findings. It reported two K-9 bites (one in Q2 and one in Q3), one vehicle pursuit in Q2 and none in Q3, and one ride-along in Q3. The board noted one "significant discussion" in Q3 and said trainings included body-wrap simulations and a review of the Utah Open Public Meetings Act. There were zero citizen complaints in both quarters, and the board issued no recommendations at this time.
