Planning manager Philip Gabatula announced that Bern Hinckley and Commissioner Chris Moody received the Western Planner Citizen Planner of the Year award during the Oct. 27 Planning Commission meeting.

Gab atula said the honor recognized both individuals’ work protecting the Casper Aquifer, leadership in public education on groundwater protection and contributions to planning policy in Laramie and Albany County. The commission expressed appreciation for the recipients’ years of service and civic engagement.
