The Clarksville City Council approved its consent agenda by a 13-0 vote, adopting multiple ordinances and resolutions the clerk read into the record.

Items on the consent agenda included a series of zoning map amendments (ordinance numbers listed on the agenda packet), an ordinance accepting a donation of real property from John T. Rockford to the city for park purposes, updates to the Clarksville design overlay districts, and retail liquor store certificates of compliance for Crossland Wine and Spirits (831 Crossland Avenue) and a certificate transfer for The Liquor Barrel (Leland Drive) associated with applicant Champa Patel. The clerk also recorded approval of minutes from the Sept. 4 meeting.

During the consent discussion several council members stated on the record an intention to register “no” votes on specific items (for example, Councilman Holloman indicated a no vote on Ordinance 14; Councilman McLaughlin on Ordinances 6 and 9; Councilman Shekinah on Ordinance 6; Councilman Chandler on Ordinance 11; Councilman Smith noted planned no votes on Resolutions 21 and 22). Despite those recorded intentions, the roll call produced 13 yes, 0 no and 0 abstain and the consent agenda was adopted.

Because multiple zoning applications were grouped on the consent calendar, the council did not discuss those ordinances individually during the meeting. Details for each zone‑change application remain in the planning packet and will follow standard administrative review if required.
