Speakers at the Downtown Indy Alliance event described a forthcoming Elanco headquarters in Indianapolis that organizers said will be a major downtown investment and anchor for the Valley neighborhood.
Event presenters described the planned headquarters as a roughly 225,000‑square‑foot facility expected to house more than 700 team members. They said the location and scale are intended to connect corporate employment with urban amenities and to encourage neighborhood development around the new campus.
"For us in the Valley neighborhood, what we're most excited about is actually changing for a kind of downtown," a speaker said, describing the company's move as part of a broader downtown transformation. Presenters said the project will create new opportunities for living, working and spending time in the area and stressed the importance of corporate–neighborhood collaboration.
Organizers did not provide specific project timelines, detailed public incentives or permitting information at the event. Presenters described the initiative as a private investment expected to catalyze additional development in the surrounding district.
