The San Bernardino City Council presented a proclamation declaring October 2025 as National Arts and Humanities Month and recognized the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra for its music-education and community programs.
City leaders read the proclamation noting the economic and cultural contributions of arts and humanities organizations and presented the document to Marisol Sandoval of the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra. Sonietta Brown, president-elect of the symphony, thanked the council and invited the public to the orchestra’s next concert on Dec. 13, 2025, at 3 p.m. at the California Theatre.
"We would like to invite you to our next concert...It's 12/13/2025. It's the last 1 for this year. It's 03:00PM at the California Theater," Brown said.
Marisol Sandoval added that the symphony has a partnership with the public library: residents who sign up for a San Bernardino library card receive a ticket for the 2025 season. The council and arts commissioners encouraged ongoing engagement beyond the designated month.
