The Delaware County Redevelopment Commission voted Oct. 9 to deny a request submitted by Mr. McConnell related to "America's Hometown Band."

Chair K. said Mr. McConnell was not present and the commission first removed the item from the table for discussion. A motion to deny Mr. McConnell’s request passed on a roll-call vote with Miss Green, Commissioner Brand, Commissioner Henry and Mr. Wigley voting yes.

Commissioners did not elaborate in public on the specific grounds for denial during the meeting beyond moving the item off the table and voting to deny the request. The denial was recorded by roll-call vote and the record shows no member opposed or abstained.
