Hollidaysburg Borough released an updated draft of its 2035 comprehensive plan and opened a 45-day public review period, borough staff told council.

The plan sets priorities for the borough's next decade, including flood mitigation projects mentioned by residents and the borough's partnership with the Blair County Planning Commission on plan development. "The updated 2035 comprehensive draft is now available, and it's now in the 45 day public review period," Director of Community Development Andy Haynes said, asking residents to submit feedback via the borough website or Facebook page.

Staff said digital versions are available on the borough web site and that council expects to consider the plan for action in December. The manager and staff encouraged residents to send comments to staff or the planning contact listed on the borough site.

Ending: Council scheduled the plan for a December agenda item and encouraged public review during the open comment period.
