The Music Commission conducted routine business and recorded several formal actions.

Minutes approved: Commissioners voted to approve the minutes for the Aug. 4 and Sept. 8 meetings. The motion to approve minutes was moved by Commissioner Price and seconded by Commissioner Aguilar; the chair called the vote and commissioners approved the motion unanimously.

Agenda order change: The commission voted to move agenda item 4 (the staff briefing by Bridal/Erica Shamley on the Live Music Fund final reports) to after discussion and possible action items. The motion to move the item was made by Commissioner Price and seconded by Commissioner Posada; commissioners approved the motion.

2026 meeting calendar adopted: The commission voted to adopt a 2026 meeting calendar that schedules regular meetings on the first Monday of each month, with the September meeting moved to Monday, Sept. 14. The chair moved the calendar and Commissioner Wagner seconded; the commission approved the calendar unanimously.

Adjournment: The commission approved a motion to adjourn at the end of the meeting.
