The Flower Mound Parks Board unanimously re-elected Theresa Thomason as chair and Rick Kenyon as vice chair during its regular meeting.

Board members said the votes will continue leadership continuity for the parks board as the group moves into a busy fall season of events, park projects and capital improvements.

Thomason was nominated and confirmed by roll call. When members were polled, each answered "for" the nomination and the presiding official announced that the motion passed unanimously. The board then took a separate vote to name Kenyon vice chair; that motion also passed unanimously. The twoparrots of the election were handled in open session under the board's organization agenda item.

Board members who participated in the roll calls included Susan Barela, Theresa Thomason, Rick Kenyon, Mark Mayer, Jennifer Mushevsky (listed in the roll call), Chris Chastain and Holly (surname variously recorded in the transcript). The board chair indicated congratulations and appreciation for those continuing in leadership roles.

The re-elections come ahead of the board's next scheduled meeting and an active season of park programs and capital projects.
