At its Oct. 6 meeting the Anna Planning and Zoning Commission took the following formal actions (all motions passed unanimously as recorded in the meeting transcript).
• Consent agenda: The commission approved the consent agenda items 6a through 6h and excluded item 6I at the applicant’s request. The commission later voted to place item 6I on the Nov. 3 Planning and Zoning meeting agenda at the applicant’s request.
• Meadow Vista Phase 4 preliminary plat (agenda item 7a): Approved the preliminary plat and granted a waiver from the subdivision regulation minimum cul-de-sac length (proposed cul-de-sac ~182 feet). The developer and staff cited an existing 15-inch sewer trunk line and a floodplain as constraints.
• Parks at Foster Crossing planned development amendment (agenda item 7b): Approved textual corrections and amended the amenity timing requirement so the amenity center and pool must be complete by the development’s 100th certificate of occupancy. The change was made to match a recently amended park-fee reimbursement agreement; staff had recommended against the applicant’s proposed alternative wording tying amenities to the last CO in a phase.
