The Finance and Operations Committee approved the remaining items on the consent report, as presented by Executive Vice President Greg Goldman. Two items were highlighted for the committee: appointment of debt underwriters to the university’s pre‑approved list following a request for proposals, and an employment agreement for the Dean of the Labovitz School of Business and Economics at the Duluth campus.

Committee members moved and seconded approval of the consent report. Regents expressed support for the new dean; one Regent noted a 15‑year professional relationship and praised his scholarship and teaching. The consent motion passed by voice vote.
