Lycoming County Commissioners approved a set of personnel actions including a transfer from the sheriff's department to the district attorney's narcotics enforcement unit, a promotion in domestic relations and two new correctional officer hires. Mike presented the personnel items to the board.

The transfer is for Shana Reagan to the district attorney narcotics enforcement unit as an assistant county detective, full time at $27.68 per hour (80 hours per pay period), with an anticipated transfer date of Sept. 28, 2025. Commissioners congratulated the appointee and approved the item.

The board also approved Christina Travis' promotion to Domestic Relations Officer 2, full time at $47,599.50 annually (75 hours per pay period), effective Sept. 3, 2025. Two new hires for the county prison were approved: Brett Bennett and Taquan Hoffman, both union correctional officers at $20 per hour (80 hours per pay period), with anticipated start dates of Sept. 29, 2025 and Oct. 6, 2025 respectively. Each hire and promotion was approved as a conditional offer of employment pending successful background checks and other standard employment conditions.
