The Norwalk Public Library Board of Directors took the following formal actions during its Oct. 9 meeting.

- Accepted the July 10 meeting minutes. Motion made and seconded; approved by voice vote.
- Accepted the Sept. 11 meeting minutes. Motion made and seconded; approved by voice vote.
- Voted to forward a resolution to advance the proposal to name the library History Room for Ralph Bloom to the city’s Land Use Committee for review (meeting on Nov. 5) with the expectation of a Common Council vote on Nov. 11. Motion moved, seconded, approved by voice vote.
- Motion to adjourn the meeting. Motion moved by Patsy Brescia, seconded by Laurel Peterson; approved by voice vote.
