Lima City Council took votes on several items Oct. 20. Key outcomes recorded in the meeting minutes and on the record are below.
• Resolution 13 25 — Boilermaker Restaurant and Bar: Council adopted Resolution 13 25 honoring the Boilermaker Restaurant and Bar for 55 years of service to the Lima community. The resolution passed on first reading by an 8–0 vote. Owner Lila (Leila/Lila spelled in transcript) Johnson was invited forward and thanked council; she told the meeting she would donate five turkeys to a local program.
• Resolution 14 25 — Pastor C. M. Manley Memorial Street: Council adopted a resolution giving the 1800 block of South Main Street the honorary name Pastor C. M. Manley Memorial Street. The resolution was presented as an emergency under Section 33 of the City Charter (as stated in the resolution text) and passed on first reading by an 8–0 vote.

• Ordinance 2 26 25 — Contract with Advanced Utility Systems: Passed on first reading, 8–0.
