Truck-a-Palooza 2025, a fundraising event for the Cobb County Safety Village, is taking place at Town Center Mall and runs until 3:00 p.m., event speakers said.
Organizers described the event as the 13th year at Town Center Mall and said more than 65 public and private partners are participating. "So this is our thirteenth year to host it here at, Town Center Mall. So come out and see us. We've got over 65 public and private partnerships that have come out to be a part of this amazing event," Staff member 2 said.
Speakers said the Safety Village uses proceeds for interactive education programs for children across Cobb County and that the current event's proceeds will go toward an all-inclusive playground on the Safety Village campus. "All of the proceeds will go back to our interactive education that we host at the Safety Village, and this particular proceeds will go to our all inclusive playground that we're excited to bring to our campus," Staff member 2 said.
The event features a display of vehicles and food vendors. "It is underway until 03:00 this afternoon, and, boy, there's a lot to see," Staff member 1 said. A participant confirmed the event offers hands-on activities for children: "This specifically is so cool for the kids to get to explore and, yeah, it's just wonderful," Staff member 2 said.
Organizers encouraged attendance for families and community members while the event continues through 3 p.m. today; additional logistical details and dates for future events were not specified in the remarks.
