At its Oct. 16 meeting the Community Preservation Committee approved the Sept. 18 minutes, adopted a set of meeting dates for 2026 (including a public hearing on Feb. 19, 2026), and scheduled a joint meeting with the Planning Board for Jan. 8, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.
Committee members briefly edited and approved the Sept. minutes by voice vote. Members then reviewed a proposed 2026 meeting calendar and added a notation to designate the Feb. 19 meeting as a public hearing; the calendar was approved.
The committee also agreed to a joint meeting with the Planning Board to discuss housing goals, 40B safe-harbor status and coordination on long-term planning; members chose Jan. 8, 2026 for the joint session and asked staff to invite the planning staff and to post the meeting at the police station as the usual venue.
Finally, the committee voted to forego a Nov. 20, 2025 meeting because the agenda was expected to be light ahead of the Step 2 application cycle in January and December. The committee said it would reconvene on Dec. 18 if matters arise and otherwise resume regular meetings in January.
