The Commissioners Court discussed the establishment of a no through truck zone on several roads in Peregrine Estates, a neighborhood in Brookshire, in response to community concerns about safety and road damage.

The proposed no through truck zone would affect Davis Road, Falcon Street, Peregrine Drive, and Quail Run Road, all of which have seen increased truck traffic cutting through residential areas. County Engineer Ross provided insights into the challenges of implementing such restrictions, emphasizing the need to balance access for businesses with the safety and quality of life for residents.
