Attendees expressed interest in placing their historic properties on the Wildwood Historic Register, with one participant discussing the restoration of the Ball Essen Farmstead, a national historic district.

The commission also reported on several focus groups held earlier that week, including discussions on African American and indigenous heritage, as well as a Route 66 revitalization initiative. These focus groups were well-attended, particularly the session on African American heritage, which included key stakeholders from the community.

In addition to the discussions, the commission provided attendees with various work products from MIG, including project schedules, informational handouts, and drafts of existing conditions reports. The meeting concluded with plans for future focus groups, particularly aimed at further exploring indigenous heritage.
