Cliff also addressed questions regarding the maintenance and replacement of fire extinguishers, noting that they should be inspected regularly and replaced every ten years. He provided information on local resources for recycling used extinguishers and emphasized the importance of smoke detectors in homes, recommending multiple units for larger residences.

In addition to fire safety, the meeting included the announcement of Toni Montgomery as the new member of the commission, who will be appointed at the upcoming council meeting.
