Worcester Technical High School has achieved remarkable recognition, earning a prestigious gold award at the 2025 SkillsUSA Maryland state championships and a silver award at the national level. During a recent meeting of the Worcester County Commissioners, officials commended the school’s instructors and students for their outstanding performance, which has consistently showcased the excellence of Worcester County.
The commissioners highlighted the school’s achievements, noting that Worcester Technical High School has been a consistent leader in vocational education, with a strong track record of student success. This year marks a significant milestone, as it is the 41st year of teaching for one of the instructors, who proudly shared that the school has had a state officer representing Maryland every year, with two officers this year.
