From June 17 to June 26, these young ambassadors experienced life in Iizuka, Sunnyvale's sister city, staying with host families and immersing themselves in Japanese culture. The bonds formed during this trip were palpable, as Yamanaga highlighted the collaborative efforts of city officials, school districts, and the welcoming spirit of Iizuka’s residents.

Following Yamanaga, student Durani Purushota recounted her personal experiences during the exchange.
