In addition to attendance, the meeting showcased the vibrant new murals created by local high school students, marking a significant artistic initiative. The murals, inspired by nature and community themes, were developed through collaboration with a local high school teacher, with plans to involve more students from nearby schools in the future. Tish, the manager of community and cultural events, also reported on the recent arts festival at Heritage Park, which attracted around 2,000 attendees. The festival featured 30 art vendors, 11 showcased artists, and a variety of performances, including live painting and cultural dance groups.
