The approval included a conditional use permit (CUP) necessary for the drive-through component, which was deemed beneficial for the local community, particularly with the recent opening of a Tesla supercharger station nearby and the planned athletic fields to the north. The commission unanimously voted in favor of the project, with seven affirmative votes recorded.

Following the approval, the commission confirmed that there is a 10-day appeal period for the decision.
