The City of La Habra held a special meeting on July 21, 2025, to honor several historic buildings that reflect the city's rich heritage. The first award was presented to the residence at 408 Lowest Street, built in 1922, which has stood for 103 years. Lisa accepted the award on behalf of the property. Next, the council honored the home at 305 West First Avenue, constructed in 1908, now 117 years old, with Maria Hernandez accepting the award.
The Children's Museum at La Habra, originally built in 1923 and now 102 years old, was also recognized. Jennifer Andrade, the Assistant Museum Director, accepted the award for this historic building that has served generations.
Finally, the La Habra Depot Theater, a cherished landmark built in 1912 and now 113 years old, received its award from Zoe Wilbur of Phantom Projects.
