Unfortunately, Cali was not present at the meeting, but her parents, Lisa and Jeff Dye, were acknowledged. In her absence, Mr. Constable accepted the award on her behalf, noting the significance of being named valedictorian.

The board announced that the names of the valedictorians would be displayed in the office for the year, with a smaller plaque to remain in the boardroom as a lasting tribute to their achievements.
