Located in the McCall Street Historic District, the house has been facing issues with leaks, particularly around the chimney area.

The homeowner sought to address these leaks without undergoing a full roof replacement, proposing the use of a Sarikade roof system. This innovative solution is designed to clean and protect the existing roof, extending its lifespan while minimizing costs. The estimated total for the project is $11,919, with a 15% grant available to assist the homeowner.

However, the homeowner was not present at the meeting, prompting the Commission to table the discussion until next month. The Commission emphasized its protocol of requiring the presence of applicants during funding discussions, ensuring that all parties are engaged in the decision-making process.
