During a meeting on July 8, 2025, County Judge Nelson Wolff led a moment of silence to honor the victims and highlighted the swift response from Bexar County's emergency management teams.

In the wake of the flooding, which occurred on June 12, Bexar County activated its emergency operations center, deploying resources to assist neighboring Kendall and Kerr Counties.
