This amendment allows the developer to forgo constructing a restaurant and water feature in exchange for building two lanes of Stanridge Boulevard, connecting Stockport to Rosamond. This vital roadway extension will improve access for emergency services and residents in the area, with construction expected to begin within 12 months after the engineering plans are approved.

Additionally, the council approved a rezoning request for the property at 703 East White Street and a zoning amendment for the Villages at Waters Creek plan development. However, they denied the rezoning of the Post at Anna, located at the northeast corner of Highway 75 and West Outer Loop, as well as the development plat for Sir Dugan City.

The council also conducted a public hearing regarding a request to rezone a small parcel at the northwest corner of East Seventh Street and Easton Drive from single-family residential to a downtown neighborhood designation with a specific use permit for a multifamily dwelling. The proposed development aims to construct a four-unit multifamily building, addressing the need for diverse housing options in the downtown area.
