Ann Marie Jenkins, the school librarian at Northport Middle School, received accolades for her 25 years of service and was named Librarian of the Year by Western Suffolk BOCES. Science educator Dave LaMagna was recognized for his contributions to environmental education, including securing a grant for community gardens and achieving master naturalist status. Finally, Michael Cessino, the director of the Northport High School Orchestra, was celebrated for elevating music education. Under his leadership, the orchestra received prestigious recognition at the NISMA All-State Conference, showcasing his dedication to musical excellence and student growth.
