Green River High alum becomes HR director after diverse educational career

During a recent community forum held by the Sweetwater County School District, Jason Fuss, a candidate for the superintendent position, shared his extensive background in education and his commitment to serving students. Fuss, who has been a part of the community since 1999, began his career as a teacher and coach at Green River High School before transitioning into administration.

Fuss detailed his journey through various roles, including associate principal and activities director in the Rock Springs School District, and later as principal at Monroe Intermediate and Green River High School. For the past 12 years, he has served as the director of human resources at the district's central office.

Reflecting on his upbringing in Goshen County, Wyoming, Fuss emphasized the importance of supportive teachers in his life, which inspired him to pursue a career in education. He expressed a deep passion for helping children and building meaningful relationships within the school community.
